hello guys i have xbox 360 PAL machine modded of 2010 can run region free games and pal and some of games ntsc/j can run all older games like gears of war 2 nd call of duty 4 saint rows 2 and call of duty black oops and mw2 but unfortunately cannot run battle field 3 nd mw3 nd asassion creed 3 nd saints row third , but for the newer games its appear i have to update they system :/ and am afraid to update if i update it ? i will loose to run copy cd ? right ? so any solution ? please help me i want to play badly :/ battle field 3 and mw3 nd saints row the third please any solution nd help ? thanks in advance <3 sorry for my weak English.
As the console was modded in 2010 if you update it will only play original games purchased from a shop, not backups. The only solution is to mod the console again as you have to updated to play newer games.
i bought my xbox in 2012 august the console model is 2010 with hitachi drive 79FK/L and my dash board version is 2.0.12625.0 so should i check it try out the update newer dash then after that if am nt able to play xgd3 copy games means i have LT2.0 so i have to flash it right ?
Yes, 12625 is ancient. You need to update both your dashboard and re flash your console. Your guaranteed not to have LT+ 3.0 as you would be on a dashboard higher than 12625 if you did.
okk but what gonna happend if i simply just update my dashboard from usb ? i will loose the ability to run copy cd games ? ( note i just play offline game never went online )
The update will either fail or will update fine and flash your DVD drive so you cant run backed up games.
