That's where it gets difficult, theirs no way to tell by simply looking at the box. Then it gets harder by the fact some guys have region locked copies and region free copies. ESPGaluda II for example is an NTSC-J which is region free, yet the collectors edition of ESPGaluda II is region locked to NTSC-J only. PlayAsia is a good website for importing games from as they do test each game to see what region it works in. You can see the PlayAsia region compatibility guide here. It can depend where you buy some games from too, Call of Duty Black Ops is a good example of a game which have multiple copies sold in the same region, some of which are region free and some which are not: Call of Duty Black Ops region check. As you can see some are PAL only, then PAL and NTSC and finally a region free copy of the game was sold somewhere, so when buying that game it would be impossible to know which regions it would support.
