After updating to 13599 Update games like Halo 3, Assassins Creed 2 etc don't start

Hello digiex,

i got a problem i just realised right now: I updated my xbox (jtag box!) a few weeks ago to dashboard version 13599 and installed dashlaunch 2.25*. I think I should say that i also Played Battlefield 3 as a GOD, and Crysis 1.

After that games like Halo 3, Reach, Assassins Creed 2, Brotherhood, Devil may Cry etc. doesen't start. I ALWAYS get the "game could not start, please download it again blah blah blah". Ok. OP Delivers; downloaded again (lol) and tryed to execute. Same shit.

Then i tryed to patch the xex file with xex tool using follow batch data code:

xextool -r a default.xex

(It's a code to remove ALL limitations)

Any ideas what else I could do?

Try setting "contpatch = false" in your launch.ini, that causes more problems than its worth.

If you still have problems install the latest DashLaunch 2.26.

Changed to false: doesen't worked...

Installed 2.26: still not working
And i doesen't have a NAND backup because my PC had many problems and i had to reinstall Windows ._.

Damn... Any other idea?

As you have patched .xex's you can not use any title updates with the game, try deleting any title updates you have and see if that helps, games as old as Halo 3 should just work.

Well, f**k. Now neither the new games like Assassins Creed Revelations, MW3, BF3, Halo CE Anniversary aren't working nor the "old" games
You know how to fix that? I have a falcon board, 16 mb if thats important...

Update to 13604, some games do need this Dashboard to work.

All games released to date work on that dash.

Installed 13604 with dashlaunch 2.27 and the original microsoft update to have the avatar stuff.
Current launch.ini:

What the hell am I doing wrong?

And a thing i just noticed now: After trying to start a game i ALWAYS get a E79 or E71 error code... What does that mean?

Have you deleted any title updates (they will break the game if you have patched the default.xex in any way.

Also for now in your dashlaunch settings remove everything except the ping patch and live block.

So you should just have this after:

[Settings]
pingpatch = true
liveblock = true

The contpatch WILL cause problems.
