I made an account just for this, how am I even supposed to use this? avatar friday patcher gui doesn't work with the .bin files that are given in this zip file.
And, fyi, avatar item downloader does still work. I've used it.

I would also love to know this. The read me says "add the bin file to an avatar item container" but I have no idea how to do that. couldn't find any answers on google but I did find this
The pinned comment has a link to a download of 8000 avatar items. The link is still up and I can confirm they work with friday patcher. Its way less than the folder with the .bins but at least its something. Also there are a bunch of avatar items here

Well, yes, but I'd prefer to be sure that there is an archive of every avatar item out there, yknow, for preservations sake!
 
Just discovered this thread. Has anyone figured out how to put or add the .bin files into a avatar container format? I've looked everywhere and would really like to figure this out. Thanks!

Hi all, I just made an account here to help out after reading through this thread to post how I add an avatar bin file to an avatar item container using the Avatar Item Downloader:

After using the remove_extra_data.bat on your avatar files open Avatar Item Downloader tool and point the URL path bar at the top to where your avatar bin files are extracted on your system eg.
C:\Avatar Items\Gladiator\Gladiator Helmet\00000544-254f-c2c3-c7e5-604d444d07f8.bin
No need to remove the .bin extension from the original file as the tool will do that with the converted file it creates. Then you can use whatever your prefered method is to inject the files with your profile
ID and copy them over to the relevent paths on your modded xbox 360.

The All Xbox 360 Avatar Items Bin Collection can be found on Archive Dot Org (sorry new user here so can't post links yet) search for All Xbox 360 Avatar Items, It was posted there Jan '24.

Note: Using this method you have to do this per avatar file as there's no batch option unfortunately :(

I'd love to get hold of that READY TO USE X360 Avatar Item Dump but sadly that 1fichier link posted by Basim doesn't load just shows:
Error code: SSL_ERROR_ACCESS_DENIED_ALERT . Hopefully we'll see that collection on Archive Dot Org soon :D
 
1fichier link is working fine for me. Try disabling any third party downloader or vpn while downloading.

Hi Basim, I've tried that link on other devices with different browsers without third party downloader or vpn and all have issue with certificate it seems as states that the links server certificate is invalid. Might be my country or ISP doesn't like 1fichier site.

Any change of getting on a much more trusted site like Achive Dot Org ?

I'll try doing this, but looking at the folders with the avatar items, theres 2 bin files. Are they basically the same? Or do I have to pick a specific one?

So I downloaded this but I'm still abit lost. so do I use friday patcher with my XUID on all of these items, and then transfer it to my HDD? where exactly do I have to put this in would be great to know, sorry. Pretty much new to all the RGH stuff, just learning. I remember there being a tutorial but got taken down by YouTube unfortunately
 
Did anyone ever get to the bottom of this?

I have installed a bunch of avatar items and have it to the point of the items showing in the inventory and i can see them in customize avatar, but hwen i load into customize avatar it comes up with "Your avatar has changed and needs to update its clothes. To update them, sign in to xbox live." and allows me to see the items but as exclamation marks with a little green coat hanger in the bottom corner.

Process.

  • Copy profile from the xbox to usb drive
  • 360mpGUI - obtain XUID number
  • 360mpGUI - convert profile to online (this appeares to have worked *but not connected to xbox live on the console*)
  • AvatarPatcherGUI - Used XUID number and input into avatar items as per instructions
  • Copy profile back to XBOX
  • AvatarPatcherGUI - Put the "AAAAAAAA" folder into HDD1/content/000000000000000

I've read that re-running the latest sytem update could fix this but can't get it to trigger. I've tried the different folder names($S or $$ and pasted in the root), different memory sitcks, i have a hdd in the console, i've formatted the memory sticks to fat32 via my pc and the xbox.. I'm at a bit of loss...
