Nope, not when I saw it on XBL, here it was € 1,- for Gold, dunno for how long though... (Will I change to silver when I refuse or will they kick me off live alltogether?)

revert you to free best way is to buy instant prepaid codes online since no need for auto renewal plus hell ov alot cheaper than ms

th £2 deal is just to get people onto auto renawal after promotion

£5.99*12 months £71.88 thats why you save on a prepaid 12 month or buying else where than ms

Did you call them up for that, i'm sure the option used to be on Xbox.com but has long since been removed (in the UK anyway) I need to call them up to disable that at some point, just not bothered yet as my live does not expire for ages.
