You guys are my last hope, I don't know what else to do. Sorry if it's off-topic, but here goes: tony hawk underground 2 (backward compatible game) doesn't work on my xbox LT 3.0 • I already have an update and HD change that makes it possible to play classic Xbox games - thanks to this thread • Star Wars Battlefront worked normally (it's a classic Xbox game that you bought digitally). •I converted ISO THUG2 to XDVD9 and burned in double layer with IMGBURN. The ISO has all the requirements to run on xbox, ixtreme compatibility and random padding. When the game first appeared in the video game "play dvd". But during all the next attempts appeared "play Tony hawk underground 2". Always crashes on classic Xbox logo. I burned the disc as "layerbreak 1913760". at the end of the firing, the tray came out automatically and replaced it. IMGBURN keeps checking and then it took another 10/15 minutes. in the end it worked, but then the xbox error happens. What did I do wrong? I don't know what else to do, I just wanted to play this game on my xbox. there are no more support forums and this thread is my last hope. thanks
After getting the OG Xbox Iso that matches your Xbox 360's Region you need to make some adjustments to it so LT 3.0 can read it. You need to know if the game is dual layer or not, if the Iso is bigger than 4.5 gigs it is dual layer, you don't need to mullet the game. They need to have the Security Sector, Stealth files and video partition restored, you can get them here or get them manually with the help of some programs, then insert them with XDVDMulleter. Abgx360 doesn't read classic Xbox Isos but XDVDMulleter will tell you that the Iso is iXtreme Compatible if the Stealth files (.dmi and .pfi), Security Sector files (.ss) and the video partition are okay, you can insert them manually through the View Iso Details option (like I said after inserting the .dmi file you can use XDVDMulleter to restore the Video partition with it), and you can CRC check it as well. After that get the .dvd file from XDVDMulleter or create it yourself with notepad, load it in ImgBurn and write it at 2.4x speed or the closest option. Hopefully the game should then work, if not its possible you have a bad rip of the game.
thank you very much for answering me. and sorry for the delay, I'm trying to find the problem of the game not working. I followed this tutorial: . I'm from Brazil and the video being Spanish helped me a lot. here's something that may or may not be related: 1- The guy in the video burned Halo 2, and in his iso there are two files: default.xbe and default.xbe_orig. when I created the Tony Hawk iso this file "default.xbe_orig" doesn't exist, no matter where I downloaded the ISO from. 2- When using the ISOBuster he needs to go to "EXTRACT DVD <IMAGE> from the .mulleted iso, but before saving, he replaces this iso with the original unmodified one. It kind of tricks the application, at exactly 7:48 of the video. Is it really like that? 3- the original ISO is about 3.5GB. But when I turn it into DVD9 it gets almost 7GB, so I'm forced to use dual layer, right? 4- last question: I read on a forum that the necessary PFI, dmi, etc files need to be from the game I'm burning, if not, it won't work. That is, impossible for me to find. Is this true or false? I used the files that the youtuber made available, which are probably the same ones found here on this site. thanks for your patience
