I will be getting the hardened edition, I don't need the NVGs. CoD1 on 360 will be sweet, and that steel box looks nice too. Question, when the beta comes out, will that be able to be downloaded here and put on a disc like the demos? Or are betas tied to your gamertag or console? Just curious.

If its an online beta it will most likely be locked to a gamertag, if its just a demo it will probably won't be gamertag locked and will be on digiex.

Why get the Strategy Guide? Isn't the whole point of buying the game is to explore it? If you have something that tells you what to do the whole time whats the point? Also I'm sure people will post guides via youtube so you would save money that way too.

I never used a guide on the first Modern Warfare. All of the enemy intel that you had to find was really easy to locate I thought.

30 of the intel pieces were easy to find. A lot of people don't know this but there are actually 31 pieces of intel. So if you have them all it will say 31/30.

On the mission where you have to carry the guy after the chopper falls down. (I don't remember his name and no its not the one where you have to save the chopper pilot) You have to place him down in the grass so he can use his sniper rifle. After the third wave of enemys go through there is a building to the far right, the door will open and there will be an Intel piece inside.

i cant wait for the game. the night vision goggles seem interesting, but i wouldnt use it. i prob will just buy the game.

I personally thought the same thing, but I realized that this is one of the coolest Collector's Editions to come around in a while and I wouldn't want to be someone without it.
