On February 12, 2010 Electronic Arts has made the game available to download for free in order to promote Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight

Tiberian Sun - Set in the early 21st century, Tiberian Sun once again pits the Global Defense Initiative against the Brotherhood of Nod in a struggle for control of the planet. With an epic storyline that unfolds as play progresses, players learn the reasons behind the worldwide outbreak of Tiberium and what happened to the notorious Nod leader Kane, who was presumed dead at the end of the first Command & Conquer.

Firestorm - It's time to head up the Firestorm task force. Nod's experiments have unknowingly released a horde of cybernetic nightmares upon the world. As GDI and Nod scramble to save themselves, they realize their only salvation lies in the unthinkable.

I love how all the Command and Conquer games I like are free now, at this rate it looks like Red Alert 2 might be free this time next year too, great find

We must have at least two purchased copies of this already, however this could be great for lans and stuff.

Thanks for the game, It's awesome! I haven't played this in a while. And the download works perfectly all I had to do was set compatibility to "Windows 98/Me" and it worked fine. No glitches at all. And the expansion "Firestorm" looks pretty cool.

Does this work on vista 32bit and what do I need to do? I tried Red alert but got nowhere, this seems more recent. Which link do I click please(noob)

Hey there BonezOz,

Its great to find one my best games again! I downloaded and extracted it but it keeps saying dll missing and have to reinstall. Pls help.

P.S. Am using Win 10 (64-bit)

What DLL are you missing? it's likely you need to run the Direct X Web installer. that seems to fix a lot of issues with old games on modern versions of Windows.
