Crysis or Far-Cry 2?

Judging by the screenshots, I think Crysis looks better. In Far Cry 2 they used too much of the BROWN IS REALISTIC!!! ethic. The faces in Crysis suck though. I've never been a fan of either of the games though.

I don’t think there’s a lot in it to be honest, Far Cry 2 does look a bit brown in places as Assassin pointed out. That doesn’t really bother me to be honest as I think it’s more to do with where the game is set, Far Cry 2 looks like it’s set in dried up desert land where as Crysis was set on a tropical island. I would prefer for green trees to the brown desert though if I had to choose ;)

Far Cry 2 is apparently a lot more optimised than Crysis so will most likely look better on my 8800GT than Crysis did.
 
I think I still need to finish playing Far Cry 1 :D. I have Crysis though. I think when I'm done with my Wii games I can finally use the full capabilities of the PC I built last year :D.
 
Can I add a me three to that? When Farcry game out all those years ago I only had a Geforce 4 MX 440... Which didn’t really play it too good at all!
 
You could use to get the game for free which had a few adverts in it, Link. However it says the offer has now expired.

I got it on eBay a few years ago for about £2.50, that would be about $5 if you’re in the USA, I can’t imagine it costs much today.
 
I cant wait for Far Cry 3, bring on the FIRE!

Graphically I think Crysis is far superior. When I first got that game I just went around cutting down trees ;o)
 
On crysis I always like picking people up and throwing them into the ocean or throwing them into walls. That way the walls will fall and then I can go in shooting!
 
I have played Crysis and it is awesome it really is i recommend crysis... and far cry to was fun and the last level was pretty difficult so really they are both good games but im staying with crysis

Yeah, Crysis is normally everyones choice. Crysis is just better than farcry. I downloaded and played the demo of farcry, i didn't like it that much. It was ok, but I would never buy it.
 
Far Cry 2 for me, I was sold at the map editor. Crysis seems more like a game to relax then to fight on lol.
 
for me crysis i have crysis but i have a bad grapics card but it work with 20+ fps i have nvidia geforce 8400 gs, although i had more fun with far cry 1 but crysis was nice in the online multiplayer and the story.
 
FARCRY 2!

The problem with crysis is all the abilities you have sort of ruins it?

Farcry 2 is just a normal man running around with guns blowing up africa with some of the most realistc graphics so far!

Looks and Sounds Incredible :)

Were not talking about Farcry, were talking about Farcry 2 - Theres a huge difference, especially if you're judging gameplay/graphics.


Farcry 2, because it IS more "graphically intense", Crysis is already becoming pretty outdated (See Grand Theft Auto 4, Alone in the Dark 5)
