Dark Spore Beta!

Steam has announced that EA/Maxis' action/RPG Darkspore is hitting Steam this week in the form of a beta. We've had some good experiences with the game already, and we think you should definitely give it a shot. It's a very interesting mix of genres and games, all put together with the Spore-like system of building your character with its own unique look, but now with persistent RPG-like stuff as well. The Diablo-like adventure was great, and the arena battles with three swappable characters included some very interesting strategy as well!
