About the game:

Gauntlet is a fantasy-themed hack and slash 1985 arcade game by Atari Games. It is noted as the first class-based multiplayer game. Released during the emergence of popularity of other role-playing games like Dungeons & Dragons, the game was a sensation, being one of the first true dungeon crawl arcade games.

The players, up to four at once in the arcade version select among four playable fantasy-based characters; Thor the Warrior, Merlin the Wizard, Thyra the Valkyrie or Questor the Elf. Each character has his or her own unique strength and weaknesses. For example, the Warrior is strongest in hand-to-hand combat, the Wizard has the strongest magic, the Valkyrie has the greatest armour and the Elf is the fastest in movement.

How to use / play / unlock / additional information:

This game will work as the trial game on any Xbox 360, it can however be unlocked to work as the full game for Jtag hacked Xbox 360's using YarisSwap.

I love this game! Pardon my noobness, but does anyone know why they call it YarisSwap? And is there any benefit to using it instead of, say, XM360?

Its called YarisSwap because that application takes the data from the game Yaris (which is unlocked on all retail consoles by default) and swaps it in to any arcade game, unlocking them for hacked consoles.

Use which ever application you want, the end result is the same.

I know for a fact we had this on our Original xbox 360, I think it came with ours, my dad has been looking for it, Even though its on many arcade collection. Please for the love of god, I hope microsoft does not de-list tron. As its from the certain time period of 08? I think?
