Gmail Servers Down? 24/02/2009

Anyone today connecting to Gmail will find the loading screen taking minutes then getting returned to a 502 Error.

It would appear that Gmail is down. Using Gmail with offline mode still doesnt work (Google Gears) - neither does Google Talk or anything related to Gmail. Getting mail by pop3 or imap also appears down for users.

Theres currently no information from Google as to whats causing this error.

Is anyone else experiencing the problem? Any solutions or word from Google?


UPDATE: According to Google's support page the problem occurred at 1:30AM Pacific Time and the company is "working hard to resolve this". Currently the service has been unavailable for nearly 3 hours.

not only in the UK, we have here in spoain (mallorca) the same proplem, can't connect with Gmail grrrrr

Mine seems to be working fine.. Might of started working now.
