HALO remade?

I heard a rumour that they gonna remake the first HALO with better graphics and stuff like that... true or just a rumour?

I know that I will end up getting the game and am not looking forward to defeating the flood again

However it will be nice to play the old multiplayer maps as i never really played them on the original Halo.
