Hi , yesterday i burned 2 games and failed with i/o error ( don't have logs now) Soo... Usually imgburn is ask me truncate or overburn...last time when asked me was 4 days ago with halo3 succes burned with truncate. Yesterday i burned fear 3 and get i/o error on my laptop 93/100 . I SAID Is a dvd error and i got the same on pc but on 99. Need to say.....default method of overburning was on default(overburn not truncate) !!!!!!! When i burned F.ear 3 and Ac 1 the program didn't ask truncate or overburn!!!!!! Should i retry my burn with default method set to truncate?. Dvd media..... Memorex
Truncate and Overburn burn only 97% of the game. BurnerMax burners burn 100% of the game. As of recently you dont need to flash the compatible drive but you can get any compatible revision of the Liteon Ihas drive and load BurnerMax Payload Tool. And use better media, like Verbatims DVD+R DL, burn at x2,4. Hadn't any problems using those. So you need BurnerMax Payload Tool and a compatible drive.
Yeah.....but you didn't ask my question... Again for you...because you can't read apparently - Should i reburn using default method truncate because last time was overburn without asking me "truncate or overburn"?
He answered your question by actually telling you the correct way to be doing it, so the problem you have will never even be an issue if you use the tool suggested.
Truncate and Overburn are a no-go. Either do it right or don't do it at all. You'll waste CDs, time, nervs and you could also damage both your Xbox360s and your PCs optical drive. Get Verbatim DVD+R DL discs and a BurnerMax drive. Otherwise, you cna only burn older games. You can find the list of games you can burn on the internet, just google XGD2 games. Even then, you need Verbatim DVD+R DL discs and a DVD drive that can write to dual layer dvds
