Hi all, since my xbox 360 lens is quite old and in order to reduce the workload on it, I would like to know if it's possible to install a game directly from an ISO file to a USB pendrive using my computer and then copy\transfer the installed game from the external USB drive to internal xbox HDD. In this way, the optical unit will read the disc only at the gaming start and then only from the HDD. Obviously I have a softmod (LT 2.0) on my xbox so no JTAG or RGH. Alternatively, is it possible to attach my xbox's hdd to my computer and install a game directly on it from an ISO file ? Thank you.
Sadly you can only do that with a Jtag / RGH. You would have to install the game on your 360 from the DVD.
yeah it is possible to do that, i found this ytb video where this youtuber made a backup to his gtaV disk1 data files and put em on drive, i downloaded em and put them on my usb flash drive using horizon and i just needed to put the 2nd disk and i played fine. here is the vid, the description had the link to the data files the only problem now is how to find other data files for other xbox360 games ^^'
