Mouse and keyboard are compatible aren't they? Probably, I suppose.

All Xbox 360 would need now would be a PC Windows OS (Lite XP/7) and it'd be an AIO (All-In-One), it's really the only thing that Xbox 360 hasn't yet done, yet.

I still ask myself why is Sony slacking when PS3 is a superb system and capable of doing so much.

I know a Keyboard/Chatpad are compatible with this browser not sure about the mouse but I would think so.

While the idea is nice, for an OS, it'll never happen and even if it did, it would be rather slow.

As far as the PS3 goes, it isn't really capable of that much more. The 256MB RAM limitation is the only thing wrong with the console, that and the cell processor. It would work good as a super computer cluster, which it has but the Cell processor on it's own, isn't that great. The RSX is what makes up for the RAM limitation but even when they still had legitimate Linux support, they gave absolutely no access to the RSX, almost making Linux on the PS3 useless in the first place.

Too bad the PS3 browser is removed and the videos on PS3 are the lowest quality possible, 'cuz Sony doesn't give a removed at keeping their features up to date. So yeah, it's also pretty worthless to have this pointless extremely outdated crap on PS3, and PS3's capable of far better too.

For YouTube videos I either watch them on PC or download and then watch them later on my TV.

At least Xbox 360's browser is up to date unlike PS3's.

Since a long time ago Sony started by removing very useful features (OtherOS - Linux) from the PS3 and to nothing like now. Just what's the deal with Sony?!

By the way, Xbox 360's YouTube is in HD 720p/1080p.

There is a Youtube app available for PS3 now anyway. And Dropbox support on PS3 through the browser and other such work arounds are awesome. Also Microsoft were hardly going to wait 7 years to release a browser for their console AND THEN release an out of date one. Actually scratch that I read just there that it doesn't support Youtube.
You have to remember the PS3 had a browser since 2006, had flash added to it later and got a signifacant update in Feb 2012 that added so much more functionality and features of modern day browsers such as the Dropbox Support. Believe it or not, in 2007 all Youtube videos looked like crap anyway so they didin't set it to play the videos in higher quality. The HD videos are only around on Youtube this 2 years now. Sony obviously have money to be putting into other things than their free Internet Browser.
