JTAG 16203 FSD 3 SLOW boot when external 1TB USB connected

Title says it all guys. The JTAG hangs at boot with an external 1TB drive connected. Formatted FAT32.

If I disconnect, boot JTAG into FSD, reconnect 1TB external, then relaunch FSD it works.

Why is this hanging at boot?
 
Yo guys figured this out.

Make sure 1TB is formatted FAT32 (naturally)

When booting the FIRST time with this drive connected and DL ini loads Freestyle, the 1TB is scanned and it takes upwards of 2-3 minutes to boot.

Every boot after this is normal. That is my result. The drive/size/info is being cached somewhere.
