Kinect games not working on JTAG

Hello, I'm new to the JTAG world, so excuse me if I say something stupid I have a JTAG with the 14699 dash, xexmenu and nxegod installed. All games except the Kinect ones are working fine. When I try to play them, a pop up says I have to install an update and that I should go to xbox.com/support. How am I supposed to install the update? Just download it and install via usb stick? Thanks.

Have you restored the avatars? if not then run the Microsoft update for 14699 and it will restore them.

Remember only ever run official updates that are the same version of the dash you are on with a Jtag

If you have done that and are still been asked to update its the update for the firmware on your kinect, you can also say yes to that and the kinect firmware will be upgraded.

Sorry, even I am completely new to the world of Jtag on my Xbox 360 Slim. I have the USB download of update (same as my Jtag console). This will not unjtag the console right? (spent a lot of money to get it jtaged)

Its safe as long as its the same version, if you had downloaded a newer version that would cause problems.
