Flashing is the process of modifying the Xbox 360's DVD firmware so it will play backed up / burned games. With a flashed console you can not do anything more than play backed up games. As for the process of flashing you want to download the JungleFlasher Tutorial from here: Jungle Flasher - Downloads You will not find a better tutorial on how to flash than that. All the games you listed will work on a flashed console, for games that use XGD3 (the new disc format for the Xbox 360) you will need to wait for an updated hacked firmware.

A Jtagged console can run unsigned code, it can also reboot in to a patched Microsoft Dashboard with security checks removed. This allows you to play games from any region, use any size hard drive you want in the console, modify your games, play games off the hard drive with no disc, use DLC / arcade games offline. The console can also run Linux and use Libxenon homebrew (PS One, N64 emulators and so on) There is also a new reset glitch, it has the potential to do everything a Jtag can, however at the moment all it can do is load Linux or Libxenon homebrew. Flashed consoles can only play burned games from your region, thats it.
If your dashboard is past the 7371 update (if you've played Dead Space 2 then it is past) you can't Jtag your console. Your best chances is to wait until someone makes a rebooter for the RHG (Reset Hack Glitch) exploit
thx for the intel >as i knew from digiex, the latest dashboard update flashes the DVD driver firmware to stock. Is it possible to modify the update before applying to the xbox so as to flash the driver with the latest modified FW? (ie, changing the files that responsible for the flashing with hacked ones) i think this deserves a try ^_^
Nope the 360 is not a PS3 you cant modify the official updates in any way. You have to take the drive out the console and flash it your self.
i heard there's a new firmware on the way that runs Gears3. i'll wait for it and then try to follow the tutorial u told me about. i hope it will work ^_^

When they release the firmware i'll do a flashing tutorial, of course it'll only be for BenQ but one out of four is better than nothing.
