I've got a xbox image in RAW (dd) that I have to analyse (forensics). My idea was to write all the data (20gb) onto a hard drive partition and that this would allow me to use tools like party buffalo. However, I'm having no luck. I'm just wondering if anybody has ever taken a raw backup of their xbox drive, then successfully been able to mount this back onto a hard drive without using the tools.
Extra note, I have not got the actual hard drive to perform any of these tasks, hence why I have a raw copy rather than the entire hdd.
