Is it possible to put downloaded music or video for playback to the internal hard drive? My main reason for this is that I play a lot of WWE 2K17 and want to use my own music. You can do this via the internal drive, but not external, so mp3 won't work as I can't create a playlist from the external drive. I know music is in the mindex folder, but they are just random file numbers so there doesn't seem to be a way off inserting an mp3 and then it recognising it. The same for video, but not that important. Thanks. TG.
Officially on a normal non hacked Xbox 360 you have no access to the internal hard drive for media, to to play music in game you have to have it on a FAT32 formatted USB drive, you can then play it from the guide (pressing the Xbox button in the middle of the controller).
It's not for playback purposes. In the game you can assign a character their own theme song, but to do so you have to put that one song in its own playlist, but I can't create a playlist using my external drive as it doesn't allow it. I thought maybe there was some way to make a virtual cd for it to "read" then I could put them on ye internal drive that way or try to insert them manually if possible. TG.
