My 360 got a present

A nice 250gb hard drive! after having my 20gb drive for the last 4 years and getting annoyed about having to constantly delete stuff I did something about it.
I purchased a nice 250gb laptop hard drive for £30 and used hddhackr on it to enable the 360 to use it.

I think doing your own drive is the way to go as Microsoft charge £89.99 just for the 120gig drive here in the uk! Play.com (UK) : Official Xbox 360 120GB Hard Drive : Xbox 360 - Free Delivery
At that price I could make 3x 250gig drives for the same price!

If you could buy the 250gig drive in shops I would hate to imagine what price it would retail for... going by the price of the official 120gig drives it would be more than a 360 console just for the hard drive!

All my games are gradually been installed which will hopefully help save my DVD drive from failing again

Yes, I copied all my save games and downloaded content from my 20gig drive to the pc. After I had done the 250gig drive I copied it back.

Cool, I may also have to do this... My DVD is allready failing lol. I have to keep ejecting and closing the drive till the game plays and I have 4mb of memory left....

I am purchasing the MW2 Limited Edition console next week most likely. I will be giving my brother my current Elite for his birthday. Now he won't take over my console . I was able to purchase an extra Prestige Edition of MW2 and am selling it on eBay. They are going like crazy! Everyone is sold out of it so that is good news for me .

I wouldn't say loads of money, but having two jobs gives me about $900-$1000 a month in paychecks.
