OK anyways i plug in my transfer kit to my PC with my 250gb hard drive attached to it,but it wont pop up in modio or xport360 or even xplorer 360 or even usbxtraf, so i went to my computer then something pops out of knower saying u have to format this drive to use it, i didn't wanna format because i would've lost all of my data so anyway i can plug it n and make it work i really want to put this 5gb game on there

But when i plug in my 20gb hdd it works but not my 250gb

    any help?

    Two questions.

Does your 250GB HDD work on the 360 still? Second question being, are you using the Xplorer 360 version that is compatible with 250GB hard drives?

How long did you wait? Whenever I tried to access a bigger hard drive it would also say "not responding" for a while but would eventually pick up my drive and allow me to access everything that I have.
