New "Sega" Handheld System Next Month

    Yeah Dreamcasts are great... if you get the ones before Oct. 2000

    I got my copy of Jet Set Radio Future/Sega GT 2002 for a $1
    the Jet Set Radio Future by itself was $8

    What’s special about the ones released before October 2000? Easy to hack?

    no hack needed...
    Just burn Discjuggler CDI(type of image) and you're ready to go
    or you can burn non self-bootable games and then use the utopia boot disc

    Actually, the October 2000 thing is a myth. People have dreamcasts manufactured after that and the only difference is they didn't work with utopia, only self boot discs.

    Nope it isn't a myth
    It's why I had to buy a new dreamcast
    I only had selfboot burned games they worked on my cousin's dreamcast but not mine

    That's a poor laser, not a manufacture date. My dreamcast is the newest model you can get, and it plays selfboot discs no problem.
