If you've ever wondered what's actually inside a Pokemon save, PKHeX is the editor to open it with. Kaphotics and the community built this Windows tool: it reads save files from across the series, lets you view and edit Pokemon, trade them between saves and checks the legality of what you have.

Tip: keep an untouched copy of the save before you start, and let the legality check have the final say, because taking Pokemon that fail it into online play can get an account banned.
For the older games there's also Pikaedit GEN 4, GEN 5 & XY. PKHeX supersedes Pikaedit now however.

- Run PKHeX.exe. It requires the .NET runtime.
- Open a save file dumped from your own game and edit away.
