You can connect any USB hard drive / memory stick to the Xbox 360 via USB and configure up to 32gb of space on it to be used by the Xbox 360.

View: Configure a USB memory stick to be used as Xbox 360 storage (Saves & Profiles)

The 360 will accept 2x hard drives or memory sticks configured like this, allowing for a total of 64gb of extra space.

If you want anymore space than that the cheapest way to go about it is hacking a 500gb SATA hard drive to work as an internal drive: Hack a 250gb, 320gb or 500gb Sata harddrive to work in the Xbox 360 and Xbox 360 Slim
