I've done this very thing for Dragon Ball and SONIC demos of Xbox 360. While they're mostly the same as the retail version, there are definitely differences and it's always cool to play a beta version of a game/franchise you're a fan of.
For example, SONIC the Hedgehog (2006) demo strangely feels a lot more polished than the retail game was.
Plus, I compile them into ISO (+ MDS) rather than loose ones (the way to copy them to a USB/HDD) and if anyone would burn to a CD/DVD, then it'd be ready already.
