PS3 Jailbreak?

Hi, i had i PS3 slim, but i played online so i did all Sonys updates, then i heard about Jailbreak so i gave my ps to a friend and he gaved me his Fat PS3 with no updates.
Can anyone explaine me what jailbreak is exactlyand how to do it step by step.
Any usb drive will do?
where's the best place to download games?

Its really not that hard, you need a ps3 with firmware 3.50 or under, you need a jailbreak compatible device ie (n900, iphone, at90boards, etc) theres a huge list of compatible devices, when you have these we can help.
