Putting demos on my hard drive help!

After I download a demo, it comes in a folder that says 00000000000000000.
in that folder are a bunch of more folders leading up to a file. How do I go about putting this on my hard drive? Also to I have to hash it before I put it on my hard drive? Thanks

Thanks for all the quick responses guys. I just went ahead and put the file into the specified folder on my HDD and it works great. just incase any one else wants to try this.

Don't modify the file. I'm not sure if hashing will mess with it or not but if its modified then it will no longer work.
