Saints Row IV Announcement Trailer

Volition has just released the Saints Row IV Announcement Teaser Trailer, revealing guitar case guns. Saints Flow monsters, but most importantly, the release date, of August 23rd in Europe and 20th in the US. this year on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, and the fact it is the climactic end to the series!


As of yet, nothing else has been said, but this is interesting. A release date fairly close to GTA V. Will you get this? Will you get GTA V instead? Or will you get neither?

Bad news for Wii U owners: Saints Row IV isn't going to be produced for Wii U. Nintendo's next-gen console is really taking some heavy hits.

Well. This honestly doesn't look that different than SR3. So i'm gonna go out on a limb to say this. SR3 > GTAIV, GTAV > SR4

It basically is DLC. You know that Enter the Dominatrix DLC that was being made for SRIII? Well, THQ said it was too large and made Volition merge it with SRIV (before THQ went bust of course), so now we have this.

I feel like SR has lost its way. I have SR1 and SR2, I might buy 'The Third' if the price lowers down a bit more but I'm not really hyped for that game. It's too cartoony. The same thing goes for SR4.
