Scuff/Scratch Marks on Xbox 360 Hard Drive casing

Just purchased yet another Xbox 360 hard drive (to use a spare) this one is a modded one but obviously is doing the job, however once formatted for Xbox 360 I removed it to plug it into my laptop to restore partition2 for backwards compatibility once it came out of my Xbox the first time I noticed scuff marks on the front. The HDD was purchased brand new and in box/plastic when I recieved it.
