Hello! I've looked everywhere and I feel like I'm missing something. I have a 1TB hard drive on a Xbox 360 S. I've formatted the drive on the 360 and added some DLC (from the Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion GOTY DVD) to make sure the usual folders were created. I ran the Xbox HDD Partition Fix (xex). After running it, I restarted the Xbox 360 as indicated. Unplugged the drive and hooked it up to my PC via SATA. Opened up the drive on Xplorer Extreme 2 and restored the Partition 2 and successfully copied the files. I then ran the November 2007 update from a USB stick and it said it succesfully updated, but when I run any Xbox Original game (disc or GOD). It crashes on the white Xbox splash screen. Any clues on what's going on? I've searched left and right with no luck. Setup: Xbox 360 RHG 1TB HDD
You have installed the last original (unhacked) updated, which has overwrote the hacked files, try copying the hacked files across again.
Thanks for the fast response! I went ahead and re-added the files; no dice. Did it all over again and still not sure why it it just keeps freezing. :/
Make sure you're running in Admin and you may need to delete the old files before you inject the new ones.
Here's a quick update, I tried those steps above but didn't work. I have another non modded Xbox 360. I went ahead and updated the drive (320GB) on Xbox Live and played games just fine. Then I took it and inserted it just like that on the RGH and everything would work but the Xbox 1 games didn't work (testing with Halo 2). I'm using the latest dashboard and I used J-runner to get it done. Could it be something with the flash? Thanks! EDIT: FINALLY GOT IT!!!!!! I reflashed the RGH using XeBuild instead of J-Runner and it worked first try. Thank you for your time <3!!!
