Top Gear Returns June 21st

watch the black adder series based in the first world war - by the time you get to the last one (especially if you have a relative who died in a war) you'll cry - exquisite humour.

We watched a couple of black adder episodes in history back in school, some very funny stuff I must admit

. I assume you like scripted and carefully constructed humour as to silly and random slapstick then?

i do like that but also of course random slapstick can be fantastic - but i personally think that top gear is very scripted and rigidly formulaic. oh dear

Each to his own I guess then. Though Nimrod has pointed a few "setups" in some episodes of Top Gear, I aint too fussed about it.
