    Greetings,

I have a rather specific case regarding Xbox Original (OG) game compatibility on my Xbox 360 RGH console. My setup includes:
    • HDD Compatibility Partition Fixer
    • Xbox 360 Hacked Xbox Backwards Compatibility v5832 (April 2018)
    • Latest Xefu Spoofer from Derf
I've followed the tutorial from ConsoleMods and have successfully converted around 70 Xbox OG games to the GOD format, all of which run fine on my Xbox 360 RGH (default Xefu Spoofer, likely Xefu-1.7).

However, I have several other Xbox OG games that exhibit issues when launched:
    • Some result in a black screen with audio still playing.
    • Others glitch out and freeze on a black screen.
    • Some even restart the console completely.

I'm wondering if there are any general fixes, hacks, or patches I could try to improve compatibility with these games.
I've tried changing the Xefu Spoofer version, but older versions produced the same results.
I understand that GOD format may not be ideal for modifying game files, but I can convert them back to raw XEX format if needed to apply patches or adjustments.

I'm also aware of the Original Xbox Games Compatibility List, but I don't fully trust its accuracy.
Some games listed as problematic run without issues for me, while others marked as supported won’t even launch.

Do you have any suggestions or workarounds I could try?
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

OG Xbox compatibility was always a bit hit and miss, even when the 360 was still supported by Microsoft. Some officially supported games were later removed due to issue with them.

The list on Wikipedia is for the officially released list of games: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Xbox_games_compatible_with_Xbox_360 - anything on that list should be supported without any sort of hacked backwards compatibility. So if something on that list does not work / has more issues than described it could be related to your setup.

Sadly it really comes down to the Xenon Fusion emulator not been perfect, as you have discovered. Although it was the best and only usable Xbox emulator on any platform that could play many OG Xbox games for a long time. Xemu on the PC is progressing very well.

Sadly I'm not really sure of anything you can do to improve compatibility that you haven't already done.
