They make horrible mics, its simple as that. I take decent care of my mics and I'm also on my 3rd one. My friend is already on his 4th wireless mic and this is less then a 2 year span. His second wireless mic broke after 92 days and it had a 90 day warranty so they wouldn't replace it. I think a miniature C4 charge goes off in the wireless mics after 90 days.
I switched back to using a wired headset because I was not happy with my wireless one. It would always make weird noises and would create a loud static noise that would annoy my friends (I didn't know because I couldn't hear it). I got a wired mic when I bought my Live messenger kit and I like it better. I had accidently stepped on my black headset that came with my Elite console. Now I have a black controller with a white mic. But who cares, it functions properly. That is more than I can say for the wireless mic. Anyway, today I purchased inFamous for the PS3. Gotta love the Gamecrazy discount! Only paid $25 for it.
Last week I purchased 6 sparkplugs for our car (2000 Mitsubishi Challenger/Monterro Sport) @ $21.75 each (platinum tipped). Then on Sunday had to buy some extra tools to change the plugs with. Today, I bought a kebab from the little Lebonese shop downstairs.
Lol that wouldn’t surprise me, I’m on my 2nd wireless gaming receiver for the pc as well... they seem to have a pretty bad reputation for staying alive too. BonezOz your making me hungry now lol
I purchased a wireless mic a while ago because I heard some good things about them but I thought it was horrible so I went back to the wired mic aswell. Im on my second at the moment.
Timing is everything. I decided I wanted to buy NFL 2k5 and counter strike today, so I first went to Game Crazy. They only had 2k5, but without the actual box art. Then I went to the Gamestop across the street, same story. Go to a different Gamestop and get 2k5 for 50 cents and counter strike for FREE. They didn't have counter strike, but while I was there, someone was trying to trade it in. The Gamestops in my district don't accept original Xbox game trade ins anymore, so the guy told the customer that I wanted that game, and then he just gave it to me! So that's what I bought today, haha.
That is a sweet deal right there. Today I purchased two games before I left work at Gamecrazy. I bought Motorstorm, and a very old Xbox game that I hardly ever see around anymore: Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast. It was a fantastic game when I first played it, and it still is awesome.
That's a brilliant game! I've spent countless hours playing that and its sequel, definitely got my moneys worth out of it several times over. Probably two of my favourite games come to think of it. There was a 2 for £25 deal on at Game the other week and I got STALKER: Clear Sky. It looked interesting as it reminded me of Fallout 3 a bit, but I can honestly say it's the worst video game I have ever purchased. The number of bugs left in that game is unbelievable. Patched it, loaded the game back up and it said my save games where incompatible with the current version of the game. Ignore any review that shows this game in a positive light if you want to avoid disappointment. It also has DRM so it can only be installed on either 5 computers or 5 times in total, not sure which. I might have to take up writing reviews just to vent on it.
I couldn't find this thread for some odd reason but someone did for me. A week ago I got a Game Cube Memory Card and a Wii HD Cable. (actually I bought it 3 weeks ago and it was supposed to get here 5 days later but UPS decided to sit on their ass for about a week before moving it anywhere.) Then a couple of days ago I bought Prototype and Bioshock. (I had to get a new copy of Prototype because they gave me a cracked copy though it was new so they had no way of knowing that it was broke.)
It would be rude for me to comment on what I think of the underworld films then hope you enjoy them though!
Picked up the new Wolfenstein for the 360 yesterday. I was surprised with how good the game is; it has a nice RPG element mixed in with the FPS ones. Also bought a new CD called Swan Songs by Hollywood Undead.
I had a feeling you would make a comment. I really despise hip-hop/rap but the mix with rock by Hollywood Undead is pretty good. I added that little bit of the CD purchase to see if you would comment. Seems I was right!
I couldn't help it. Thankfully I haven't actually heard them but one of my friends feels as if he has to sing it every time I'm in a XBL party with him...he gets booted a lot.
