Hello,
I just had a thought, in the middle of the night I know but hey... what are you going to do, life don't sleep.
Say you have an e-mail address or a web address. What happens to it when you die. Can you inherit somebody else web space. This is a thought that has never come up, because today we are probably the first generation that is going to have this problem. What do we do with all of our information/data that we have accumulated on the internet over the years. Coming to think about it i would love to leave my web space and address to my kids, that would be cool. Maybe leave them a few surprises in there. Stuff they didn't know or a diary of my life, that they don't get until i'm dead.
In today's generation online real-estate is big businesses for company's. What would you do if you owed a website, then when you died is just got taken down i know that i wouldn't want that to happened to all the information that i have accumulated over the years.
Here is a business idea for you start a online real estate life insurance policy. Or high traffic websites could get auctioned off if not left to anybody. Like the do with property and other form of inheritance on a program on BBC call heir hunters
I bet this today in a way touches some companies, what do they do with all the dead accounts. I suppose its different for businesses who need active members, But i know i would want my blog taking down.
Anyway tell me your thoughts
