This Microsoft website will give out the same Windows 10 ISO's on MSDN / Technet: Windows 10 Official ISO Downloads From Microsoft.

Why would you want a pre created ISO from Microsoft?

Downloading a pre created ISO form Microsoft can be very useful as you can download ISO's for other editions of Windows which are not your native language, or for a different edition of Windows to what you currently have.

Some people might also wish to verify the have a 1:1 ISO with the SHA1 published on MSDN or Technet, this is useful especially if you wish to archive the ISO's for later use.

The links you provided are I think are not MSDN links.


The MSDN Download link will have file name as en_windows_10_multiple_editions_x86_dvd_6848465.iso for download of ISO file.

You can simply rename the files, the SHA1 is the same as on MSDN which means the download is identical to what you get from MSDN, just with a different file name.

You can use TechBench to download the latest ISO's directly from the Microsoft servers now: https://tb.rg-adguard.net

Check the SHA1 after downloading, however if you look at the link Tech Bench generates you will see you download directly from the Microsoft servers.

If you really want the old build select 1507 July 2015, however i'd suggest downloading 1809 from October 2018 so you don't have to go though the process of updating a really old install.
