Here's a really simple tool which will allow you to open .MIG files (Compressed Windows Easy Transfer Files) and explore the files.

I recently had to help a family member restore some old Pictures they deleted by mistake; and this tool easily allowed me to open up the .MIG backup and restore just those files.
