With the announcement of pokemon FR and LG
I was preparing a speculative post regarding whether to enable the wireless adapter option and today I can confirm that if yes, this is very good since we could have the rest of the events that did NOT come out for the generation and also have the old tickets again

We still have to wait for the day the game comes out and wait to see what form the events will give us

Event List

Ticket:
Aurora Ticket
Mystic Ticket

Eggs:
Egg Pichu move Surf

Egg PKMN CENTER NY

Altering Cave

Probably they will (somehow) distribute/include (like GS Ball for Pokémon Crystal VC) the Aurora Ticket and the Mystic Ticket.
I think it will be very difficult to see other events.

(But, since FRLG will be distributed also for original Switch, we will be able to use CFW to dump and edit save files).

Yes, I thought they probably edited the rom to get the tickets after the league.

Regarding modifying the save, I feel that they will also have more problems to avoid the use of pirated wonder cards

I agree, the Aurora Ticket and the Mystic Ticket will probably be injected into the save like the GS Ball on Crystal VC.

I think Celebi and Jirachi will be the more interesting / harder Pokemon to obtain with these releases (Presuming we get Ruby / Sapphire / Emerald at some point). The Old Sea Map would likely be available in Emerald allowing access to Mew.

That only leaves Celebi and Jirachi that can't be obtained by just playing the game. Its not totally unrealistic Pokémon Colosseum / the bonus discs could be made available on the Switch 2 I suppose though...

Other tedious Pokemon to obtain without online trading / Home support would be Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Totodile, along with Raikou, Entei and Suicune as these would require at least three playthroughs of Emerald, in addition to three of either Fire Red or Leaf Green. The no actual internet functionality limits trading to other people you know IRL, so it depends how many of your friends plan to play these releases.

Of course with a hacked Switch you can tunnel local WiFi over the internet, or even trade with an emulator and your real Switch. (Or just restore your GBA save game to the Switch and be done with it!) so options do exist. It might be a fun one to try do totally legit all these years later, depending how many friends plan to play these new releases.

Good news! Aurora Ticket a Mytic Ticket are give automatly when you reach Hall of Fame.
The question is: If you found the way to inyect your save into the Switch version, you automatly get the ticket when you start the game or you had to complete Hall of Fame again to get the tickets?

I've decided not to inject my save, as the emulator on the Switch sends telemetry about your game progress to Nintendo: https://x.com/meatball_132/status/2027448890438439278

A good news indeed, i was waiting to see if the event tickets were going to be added, like the gs ball was for VC crystal, to decide to get the games or not.
What i find wierd is that, unlike with VC crystal, they didn't use the events as a marketing tool. They had the perfect opportunity to say so during the pokemon present.

Big Brother Nintendo is at it again, but more seriously, i'm guessing it's for checking if a pokemon is legal or not for the Home compatibility later down the line.

Has anyone been able to modify their save?
and they have activated the mystery gift function

Maybe they wanted to avoid the "20$/€ for a Deoxys" critics like the "40$/€ Mew" critics they received about the PokéBall Plus or they want to avoid the "it's still impossible to complete the National Dex" one. Who knows
