XB1 Controller Drivers Windows 7

Hello. So I have an issue. Basically I woke up this morning and I hopped on PC hoping to play some NBA and I realized my controller wasn't on which was odd. I then saw that it said 'Device Unknown' and wouldn't even notice it as Xbox One Controller. I scanned my PC for any viruses and it's completely clean. I've restarted many times. I also uninstalled the drivers and tried to reinstall them which is where my problem occurs, my download does not move an inch literally. I was on Teamviewer with a Tech Support guy from another community and we spent over an hour trying to fix it but we came to no good conclusion. As I type this my controller is plugged in but not turned on, it only shows an orange light to show that it's charging. If anyone could help it'd be a massive help.

You could try a different USB port to rule out one been faulty.

Failing that use system restore and restore your PC back to how it was say a week ago today (it will keep your documents and stuff you have created since then, just not installed apps / games).

I've tried all USB ports. I have no system restore points set. I believe it's something to do with .msi installs as the progress bar simply doesn't move no matter what.
