whwnever i play tomb raider , my console freezes at the same point...no matter if I installed or uninstalled the game, the result is the same...plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz help me...what shud i do now?????
This is probably related to the fact the "backups" you are playing are not burned correctly. Data the game needs is missing, so is causing the game to crash.
so u mean to say that if I burn another backup from another disc, that is likely to solve the problem ???
What i'm saying is I believe your truncateing the games when you burn them, so are not burning all the data. You need a DVD writer that supports the burnermax payload to correctly burn backups. That's what I presume is wrong anyway.
ok, thanks @InsaneNutter, but i don't have a dvd drive that fully supports burnermax payload. I remember once i burned a backup....and it ended up with "failed to finalise disc" error in the ImgBurn......so can i use Overburn method ??????
You can try it but i think you will just be wasting more DVD-R's. I would personally save up and get a supported DVD Writer, I don’t think they are too expensive these days.
Hi nutter its been a while since i was here but need you're help. I burnt Batman Origins disc 1 and 2 i can play disc 1 without any problems and install with no problems. Disc 2 i can't even get it to run on the console the screen goes black the says clean disc. I did the same thing as disc 1 but still not working. Do you think it may be the file is corrupted somewhere?
The image you burned could well be corrupt in some way, or the disc you burned to is simply a bad disc, which can happen.
hey @InsaneNutter you told to use Burnermax payload tool for 100% burning, btw Tomb Raider is an XGD2 game, it shud normally be burned 100% with any drive ....so in that case what might be causing the FREEZE ???? I am having kinda same prob with FIFA Street (XGD2)....plz help
Ah yes your correct, again it could still be a bad iso, bad disc, your dvd burner could produce poor quality burns. Most likely cause is a poor quality / bad disc, then a bad iso. All you can really do is change things above to rule them out one by one.
If you're using a low quality disc for the burning that could cause the issue or if you're burning the discs too quickly. Only other thing I can think of is your DVD drive is going out so the burn is sloppy.
hey guys help me burning a Xgd3 backup : shud i use layerbreak 2086912 or 2133520 ???? and if i burn the backup at 4x speed do i need to tick "Perform OPC before writing" and also truncate or overburn....i'm burning 'the evil within'....thnx in advance
