Xbox 360 NXE Dashboard Update 2.0.12603.0

Information:
The latest Kinect Dashboard Beta, released on 20/10/2010.
This does not contain the avatars.

How to install:
1.) Extract the contents of $SystemUpdate12603.zip
2.) Put the $SystemUpdate folder in the root of a CD or USB Stick (Must be FAT or Fat32 formatted)
3.) Insert the CD or USB Stick into your Xbox 360 console.
4.) You will be automatically prompted to update with a USB stick, with a CD / DVD it should say Mixed Media Disc, power down the 360 and power it on again. You should be ask to update before the 360 boots to the dashboard.
5.) Once the update is complete your Xbox 360 will restart then boot up to the new dashboard. Enjoy!

Strange... it took me like 10 seconds although I had no disc in the console.

When the final is released any of the betas should let you update using the console.

As always if you are in the preview program this will allow you to go on live, if not you will have to wait for the official release.

You will not be able to until the Dash is officially released.

for the people with avi playback issues!!! i have this same problem but if you use wmc they will work altho they do take a lil longer to buffer than usual so dont fast forwqard them or you may have problems ,,, hope this helps ,, roll on 26th
