I just got the above in an email from Xbox Rewards, only 40 hours of Xbox Live play... damn they need a pay and go plan. I figured it would have been more. Kinda makes me regret renewing my gold sub, its nice to have as i do like to randomly play online... suppose ive had the last 2x years of gold for about £12 in total so i cant really complain.

It said "Xbox VIP Rewards" so where's my VIP reward?

The "reward" was only for members who have had Gold for 5+ years. It was an avatar helmet or something.

I've had gold for 6 years, i never got anything. Unless its 5 years with no break in which case i've not done that as i had the odd month with no gold.

Maybe I should have rephrased that. You only had a chance to get it if you had 5+ years on XBL, or that's what I heard anyway.
