Xbox360 won't Read call of duty 4 disc?

Hey.

Everytime i insert the Cod 4 disc into my xbox360, It doesn't read it for some reason?,

all the other games work fine and the disc doesn't have any scratches :/

Any idea on how to fix this?

Have you tried installing the game to the hard drive? If you're still having problems, try cleaning/buffing the disc. Also try it on a friend's console.

How do I install the game to the hard-drive if it won't register that it is even in the drive?

Yeah, that is a problem. Sorry didn't think of that, doh!
If there a video/game rental store near you, have them clean/buff it. Sometimes there is a film of junk like grease, cigarette smoke and etc. that gets on a disc. Hard to see.
Of course, try it on another console if you can.

Sorry to hear different options didn't work out. Has to be just a very bad disc.
You should be able to get a new one very little $ these days.
How long have you had it? Buy it new? Heck, try contacting the company. It can't hurt.

I got CoD 4 MW, it works fine on my Xbox 360 S, but lately haven't been playing it at all.

I didn't even bother to install because it runs just fine and quick.
