I have Beta 6 of Xplorer 360 320GB Edition, I've disabled UAC and it seems using "add folder" doesn't seem to add the files/folders to the drive and drag drop just has a black circle with a slash through it saying you cannot move the files here. I use administrative mode and even tried changing the compatibility but nothing seems to work.

Is Xplorer 360 dead is there a newer alternative I can use?

Upgraded froma stock 120 Elite drive to a WD Blue 320GB firmware was successful so I'm really confused.

Use Party Buffalo Drive Explorer, i've never had any problems with that on Windows 8.1 x64.

Xplorer 360 hasn't really been updated for many years, all the random editions like the 320gb one are hacked versions of the original as it is.

    Worked perfect!

Question I don't think it supports USB Thumbdrives that are 360 formatted with saves and profile info?

also can I use it like a transfer cable? 360 HDD to 360 HDD if both are in the system?

It should support USB thumb drives configured for use in the Xbox 360 perfectly, never had any issues with them.

Also you can use it for 360 hard drives connected via the transfer cable, just remember to run the program with admin rights otherwise it will not work correctly.

    Sweet that's good to know

It's odd though it didn't detect my USB Drive that had my save games and profiles on it...

Also what about 2 or more 360 Formatted Harddrives connected via IDE Mode Sata not using the transfer cable? Can it act like a transfer cable and can I copy files back and forth?

Yes it should red / write to any Xbox 360 formatted drives.
