New Server : Picking Creative and Survival World Seeds

Hello all,

For the new Server, as you all know we are having new maps for Survival and Creative Worlds. Therefore we need to start looking at seeds and picking which world we want to keep. Remember this choice can't be rushed, as we will be stuck with the world for at least a year, if not longer. That's why we are calling all players to help find a great seed for each world!

What's ideal? A world with lots of islands, but also lots of nice landscape and cliffs. Much like the Creative world we have on the Plugin Server (which is sadly 1.8 so we cannot use it ).

How can you help? Download the 1.9 Pre-release 5 and start generating world's seed with random seeds. Once you have the perfect world, tell us the Seed and we can use it Screenshots would help to

We will heavily reward those who find the Worlds we will end up using.

Use "gimmeabreak" for survival or creative worlds if you want a town as a spawn

OR if your desperate for a stronghold use "Minecraft is for doritos" and very close to the spawn point (basically under it) you will find one with a portal to the End dimension.

Thank you for sharing Punky, but were more interested in the landscape over the entire map, than just what's available at Spawn. Also if you can detail on each seed what the sort of world is like and why you think its a good choice it be much appreciated.

Great seed for survival and looks very natural

• Massive forest near spawn and ocean pretty close
• NPC village nearby
• Hill biome not too far from spawn
• Desert, Swamp, Forest and Grassland biomes all near spawn
• Looks very natural and great for survival
• Many rivers if you explore a bit
• small islands scattered across the ocean
• Big continent
• Probably another continent across the ocean (large ocean)
• Big forest at spawn and if you walk a bit you'll find a hill biome and a large desert

I recommend you try this seed and see it for yourself.
