I watched this movie the other night at with my friend and his girlfriend. I had heard so many things about this movie ranging from "It was terrible" to "It was the scariest thing I have seen". I personally thought the movie was really well done, but it had its flaws. The movie starts at pretty slow, but gets very interesting when paranormal things start happening in the house. I actually found myself pretty creeped out at some points, but also very intrigued. The scene at the end was probably one of the most horrific things I have seen. It was just very unsettling. Anyone else seen the movie? What did you think?

I saw the new 2009 blu-ray. It had an alternate ending besides the original ending. From what I understand, there are about 3 or 4 different endings.

Don't think we're allowed to link to stuff like that, Poorinem.

I could be wrong about this, but isn't Paranormal Activity one of those films thats done from the characters point of view like Cloverfield?

It's exactly like Cloverfield. It is shot with a camera that makes it look like a home video. It really adds to the tension of the film as opposed to just seeing the movie filmed like a traditional film.

i just saw the movie last night, and i thought overall the movie was good. the beginning was kinda boring but it got better. The ending was the best part of the movie, i loved the end.

The end really was the best part, truly horrific though. There part where she walks up the stairs and throws the guy at the camera was really creepy because all you heard was the footsteps and the BAM! Great film.

I had also heard that this movie had that low budget, but made a ton of money. That's when you know that the director did a good job when the budget is low like that and then brings in the huge number that it did.
