I think they should release the update on the 2nd or 3nd of November as then everyone would be prepped for Kinect already and not need to worry about updating with the disc they get but I have a feeling that it will be November 4th as Microsoft can't seem to make up their mind.

The update that ships with Kinect will likely be an old beta update as the kinect units will have been manufactured and shipped out around the world weeks ago.
Of course the Kinect dash update will probably be released on the 4th, if not before otherwise Xbox Live would be broken for a lot of people.
