I don't like fedora at all, Debian based distros are best!sudo add-apt-repository ppa:gnome3-team/gnome3
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
sudo apt-get install gnome-shell
sudo apt-get install gnome3-session

ive always liked ubuntu but i prefered kubuntu because it was very simular to windows
Kubuntu is just ubuntu with KDE desktop environment, ubuntu has Gnome (and 11.04 has Unity). You can install gnome3 with my instructions in kubuntu.
