my xbox 360 dont update

(How many times have I asked this in other forums...)

Well, it turns out that if I want to connect my xbox 360 to live, I get that I need an update to connect. It asks me if I want to update, I choose yes, and I get an error saying "there was an error, let's fix it" or something like that. I get to disconnect the router and things like that (which I already did).

It also happens that if I have a usb with the update and connect it with the xbox turned on I get the same artel (update), I accept it and absolutely nothing happens

and if I connect it with the onsola off and turn it on, I get the same message before entering the dashboard. I say yes and it shows me a scene from the locked xbox intro. I can continue pressing the guide button, but it only returns me to the dashboard.

the xbox is not flashed, and i have the update 17559 (the last update) but it says me to update

I suspect you don't have the avatar data? do you see any avatars when you customise your profile?

What storage devices do you have connected to the 360? you need a hard drive to store the avatar data or a usb drive configured for Xbox 360 use.

i have a usb configured and other for profiles and games

The only thing I can suggest is try with an actual 360 hard drive, I think usb drives could be used to store the avatar data, however i'm not 100% sure now as its been so long.

I would love it, but here in my country hard drives are around 11,000 pesos. there is no other alternative to hard drives?

I forgot to tell you, on the flash drive, in addition to being assigned, I have some games. does that affect?
